Mr Pinter would feel that the future of theatre is in safe hands with companies such as Underfoot.
A tour de force.
..it's simply a beautiful piece of storytelling..muscular, painful and yet joyously funny.
One leaves the Theatre thrilled and at the same time thoughtful.

Underfoot Theatre Company presents LIVING BETWEEN LIES

We all lie. We need the lies to keep us going,
because otherwise you might…do something you regret.
When life in London takes an unexpected turn for Lindsey, Alice, Laura and Kim, they all run from the truth. But when reality catches up with them, they have no choice but to face it.
A one hour tragicomedy about four women dealing with loss.
Lindsey moved to London to work on her dream project. It sort of took over, it sort of became her baby... and she’s not going to let anyone or anything come between her and her baby.
Alice has the most wonderful life together with Harry - the love of her life and her future husband. It’s so perfect she’s willing to sacrifice her dream job for their wonderful future together. But suddenly he’s not around much... But everything’s wonderful, according to Alice.
Kim might have a small drug problem, she can quit whenever she wants. She meets a strange Irish woman, Laura, in a hospital who promises to write her a prescription if she divulges her secrets. But Laura tells some strange stories, suggesting that her relationship with the truth might be as strained as her relationship with her husband.
